Orders and payment
Your basket
Each item in your basket is labelled with the student it is for. The student name helps us pack your order; it does not mean the item is personalised unless the product description says so.
Prices
Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT where it applies. Discount codes are applied before payment and one code can be used per order.
When your order is confirmed
Payment is taken securely by our payment provider, Stripe. Your order is accepted once your payment is confirmed and we send your receipt by email. Items are reserved for you while you complete payment. If payment is not completed the reservation ends and no order is placed.
Collection
Orders are for collection only; we do not post uniform. We will email you when your order is ready to collect.

- When you can collect: any time you are in the studio after the email telling you your order is ready. You are also welcome to ask us whether it is ready
- Collecting for someone else: only a member of your family may collect an order for you
- Uncollected orders: we hold an order for 60 days after the email telling you it is ready. After that we cancel it and refund you
Please check your items when you collect them and tell us straight away if anything is wrong or missing.
Your 14-day right to cancel
Because you order online, you have the right to cancel your order under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. You do not need to give a reason.
How long you have
You can cancel at any time from placing your order until 14 days after the day you, or someone you nominate, collect the items. If an order is collected on more than one occasion, the 14 days run from the day the last item is collected.
How to cancel
Tell us clearly that you wish to cancel, by email to dance@lucylovick.co.uk or in person at the studio, and include your order reference. You can cancel part of an order.
Returning items
Return collected items to the studio within 14 days of telling us you are cancelling. Items should be unused and, where possible, in their original packaging. You may handle items as you would in a shop to check size and fit. If an item has been used beyond that, we may reduce your refund to reflect the loss in value.
Exceptions
The right to cancel does not apply to:
- items made to your specifications or clearly personalised, for example embroidered or printed with a name;
- sealed items that are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once unsealed, such as underwear.
Exchanges and faulty items
Size exchanges
If an item does not fit, bring it back unused with your order reference within 28 days to exchange it for another size while stock is available. Exchanges are in addition to your right to cancel.
Faulty or incorrect items
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 items must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If an item is faulty or not what you ordered, tell us as soon as possible. Within 30 days of collection you are entitled to a full refund. After that you are entitled to a repair or replacement, and to a refund if a repair or replacement is not possible or does not fix the problem. These rights apply to personalised items too.
Refunds
Refunds are made to the card or wallet you paid with. We refund within 14 days of receiving the returned items, or within 14 days of you cancelling if the items were not yet collected. Your bank may take a few further days to show the refund.
If you received a discount, the refund is the amount you actually paid for the returned items.
