Leggings and a T-shirt, or a leotard. We have plenty of spare ballet shoes and tap shoes to borrow.
How the trial works
Three styles, one class
A lively first dance adventure
Each 45-minute class covers Ballet, Modern and Acro to music, and gives children room for imagination and self-expression.
We use props and instruments, and our wonderful senior dancers help in class. Each term ends with a show presentation where the children share what they've learned.
Ballet, Modern and Acro
Ballet
Children learn the ISTD Pre-Primary Ballet syllabus, working on posture, musicality and grace.
Modern
Children learn moves and rhythms from ISTD Pre-Primary Modern, with plenty of energy and smiles.
Acro
Acrobatic Arts gives a safe foundation in acro skills, with work on balance and flexibility.
ISTD exams
Ready for exam day
Dancers take ISTD exams when they are ready. This short video shows what to expect, and the dance exams page has the details.
Super Stars uniform
- Aqua school skirted leotard, pink socks and ballet shoes
