Please read the exam requirements below and  find attached the exam timetables for Ballet 16/02/18 and the timetable for Modern  and Tap 16/02/18

Do remember that the exams are taking place at the Church in both the Church Hall  (Ballet) and Kenilworth Hall ( Modern and Tap). Due to this we do not have space for parents to wait. Please drop your child off at the front door and return for the end of the exam.  The only exception is for the parents of Primary Ballet candidates who are welcome to wait during exam. Please do not bring siblings though as we do not have space.

Do not ring the bell on the front door during the exam day- a simple knock at the window and someone will answer.

Modern and tap 16th Feb 2018

Ballet exam 16th feb 2018

All pupils need to arrive one hour before their exam.

Please have clean uniform for your exam.

Tap shoes should be polished and you need to wear black socks.

Modern is  bare feet  and should have clean short toenails.

Ballet pupils will be fitted for satin ballet shoes. To rent at £3.50 or to buy  with your ribbons already sewn at £12.50

Hair should be dirty, so do not wash for 2 days before please. It is extremely difficult to put clean fresh, shiny hair into a slick bun or similar. If you come with freshly washed hair you will have a pot of extra strong gel put on your head!!!!  We will do you hair  for you to an exam standard, please however bring your own hairbrush.

No nail varnish – please  and no temporary tattoos.

Ballet girls should not wear knickers as you do not see ballerinas on stage with knickers showing. The same for exams. Thank you

We really do appreciated you reading all this information and hope that the day runs smoothly without any hiccups.

Miss Lovick
